A more intimate number of guests made it possible for the wedding ceremony to be celebrated at the altar rather than in front of the classic three-tier wine-glass pulpit that stands majestically in the middle of the center aisle.

(And this was a Saturday morning wedding, wonderfully more cool than later in the day!)
