Some years back Malcolm Gladwell published “Blink”; in the book he argued well that we seem to have lost the ability to hear and follow the immediate decisions of our hearts and have surrendered this to a long process of decision-making. I agree… in part.
Decision-making occurs throughout our days – from the minute and ephemeral to the crucial and lasting such as choosing partners, cars, homes, jobs etc.
This series will begin reflection of how our spirituality affects our decision-making… or not.

“Discerning God’s Will”
It would be a dream come true if, every time we needed to make a decision, a hand from heaven came down and pointed us in the right direction. God does help lead the way, but when it comes to decision making, He guides us through His Word.
On Sunday, January 15, The Rev. Alan Neale, our Assisting Priest, will begin a three week series discussing the process, problems, and progress of decision making using key passages from the Bible to help us discern the will of God.
The program will be held in Honyman Hall from 9:00am to 9:45am, coffee will be served and all are welcome to attend. For more information please contact Fr. Alan at (401) 846-0660.
