From 2004-2015 I had the great honor and challenge and joy to be Rector of The Church of the Holy Trinity, Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia. During my tenure as Rector, the number of weddings increased exponentially because I deeply believe the church should open its doors to all people regardless of their history.

But, having said that, it is an especial joy to marry a couple that one has known through prior worship and church involvement.  Matt and Seohee were/are such a couple. Matt posted this on Facebook today!

Once upon a time, a beautiful and charming young lady wished for lots of snow on her wedding day. And then, on December 19th, this is what happened! Happy Anniversary, Seohee, thanks for everything you’ve been and done all these years. I love you!
