“The Lord’s hands have molded the dry land” Psalm 95:5
It would be rather pleasant and far more comfortable if we were talking about a “dry wit” or a “desert-dry martini” but no, this dryness of which the Psalmist writes is the dryness of a land that produces nothing, inspires nothing and sees no end of dryness.
Of course what describes “a land” can also describe a life, a soul, a love.
The one is the Lord, with strong and experienced hands, will create out of dryness an oasis both adorable and abundant.
No relationship need be beyond hope of renewal.
