“A spiritual experience is something that brings about a personality change… in most cases the change is gradual” AA.

It lacks integrity, authenticity, reality to boast of a spiritual experience but yet show no evidence of change (“by their fruits, you shall know them”).

This, I know, is a challenging message but there is also comfort… “in most cases the change is gradual”. Honest patience is required… “one step at a time”, “a program of progress not perfection”.
