The constant search for ways to express love to a partner is crucial; it speaks of the heart and the mind (you are on my mind). It need not always be a grand gesture.
You could even argue that this is an incarnational way of expressing love always; um… think that happened centuries ago in Bethlehem but that’s a crucial post for another time.
